The battery features a small & lightweight Li-Ion Battery. The Li-Ion batteries do not suffer what is called battery memory so when you charge the unit it will charge to full every time. There is very little automatic discharge; tests showed that if you left the Bosch Uneo on standby for 4 months it still had 85% charge in the battery. This means that the drill is there ready to go when you are.
The Bosch Uneo is also charged very quickly with an impressive 80% charge in only 30 mins, and a full charge in as little as 60 minutes. There is a LED indicator light on top of the drill that will let you know the current charge of the battery.
This tool is as lightweight as some cordless screwdrivers and can be used as such, it accepts the Hex screwdriver bits, and away you go. The trigger features an accelerator system so to go slow pull the trigger in a little bit to go full speed pull it all the way in.

Reviewers have said that the Bosch Uneo is a good cordless drill however if you have lots of the standard circular drill bits you will need to purchase bits to suit the Hex bit system.
