You don’t have to be “Tim The Tool Man” or a professional tradesman to appreciate a quality electric drill or cordless power saw!

.

First, however, you have to give some thought to and know which is the ‘right tool for the right job.’ For example:

  • That new power drill won’t come in very handy if you’re using it in the backyard away from an electrical power source (in which case you’ll want to pick up an extension cord, or go cordless.)
  • If you’re looking to go cordless, what’s the voltage? The higher the volts score the better, since voltage will dictate how long your cordless power tool will last until it needs to be charged again.
  • In the market for an electric sander? For smaller intricate jobs, sheet sanders are ideal for getting into tight corners. However, also consider larger belt sanders if you want to make quick work of any big sanding project overing a wider area, such as wood floors.

Once they’ve done their due diligence for buying a power tool, homeowners and weekend warriors often feel that having the right tool for the right job is nothing short of ecstasy.
